Default GW2 requirements

i know the gw2 system requirements arn't known yet, but im sure people that are good with computers probally have a general idea of what it will be. Ive reccently got a new laptop (my old one racked up an 800 repair bill with no fault of mine...). But over the last week or so its been bugging me if this new laptop could run gw2. Even though its just guesswork now if my comp meets the requirements, but it would really ease my mind if someone that knew comps well would tell me that gw2 probally would, or would not run on my comp. Even if people don't think my comp will run it, i woudl rather know then be left wondering if it probally would run it or not lol.

So i guess the question is:
At minimum settings on gw2, would u guys guess that my computer could handle it?

http://www.gateway.com/systems/product/529668733.php
the model number on my laptop is really NV59C66u, but it seems pretty much the same as NV59C65u. The price on this website though is about 200 more then i bought mine for... but i can't see a difference otherwise.

Im a poor collage student, so i couldn't really afford much more then this. Thanks a lot guys ^.^

I would check out the very latest games that appear similar to GW and make an estimate from that.
I am guessing that a dual core system with a halfway decent graphics card say 512 + should at least fit into the minimum requirements for GW2

I checked for Diablo 3 and this link gives an educated guess as to requirements ie 2.4 dual core 2 gig ram 512 graphics.

Warcraft has a new incarnation its system requirements are slightly lower

This is what the gw2 page says about it
What are the system requirements for Guild Wars 2?

The system requirements haven't been finalized, but just as with the original Guild Wars series, we're committed to creating a beautiful game that will play great on mid-range gaming PCs.

If you can run GW1 at max settings with no problems then you shouldn't have a problem running GW2 at a decent setting.
They've said the system specs for GW2 aren't much higher than what GW1 is.

decent price for that hardware --- I suspect that it will play GW2, but not at high settings and no AA of course.

I would be more worried about the game actually coming out before I cared what spec requirements were...
